Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly talented Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic and fast-paced technology firm. This individual will work on the design and development of both our hardware and software products, ensuring that we continue to innovate and lead in our market. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in both UX/UI design and a solid understanding of hardware product design to create elegant, intuitive, and practical solutions for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead product design across the full lifecycle: conceptualization, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and final implementation.
Translate complex product requirements into intuitive and functional user interfaces for both hardware and software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to ensure seamless design-to-production execution.
Create compelling, human-centered design solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technological realities.
Champion best practices for design processes within the company.
Conduct and utilize research data to make informed design decisions.
Mentor junior designers, helping them to grow their skills and knowledge.
Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and team members.
Track latest design trends and technologies to stay at the forefront of user-centered design in both the hardware and software industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
A portfolio that showcases deep expertise in UX/UI design, along with solid skills in hardware product design.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
Experience in designing for a variety of platforms including web, mobile, and various hardware interfaces.
Exceptional visual design skills, with a deep understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and white space.
Strong understanding of current industry standards and design best practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationales.
A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with 3D design tools such as Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
Familiarity with coding languages like HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
